About Tera Orey

With over 15 years of expertise in executive search and human resources, Tera leads the Executive Leadership Practice at ThinkingAhead Executive Search. She serves clients across the financial, energy, technology, healthcare, and consumer goods sectors. 

Tera has extensive experience coaching, developing, and recruiting C-suite executives, Board members and other senior leaders. Her industry experience includes technology, materials, oil and gas, electronics, capital equipment, life sciences, retail, real estate, and nonprofit institutions.

Tera earned her PHR Human Resources Management in 2009. She is certified in executive assessment and has personally conducted hundreds of executive selection and development assessments in multiple industries. She also has her bachelor’s degree from George Mason University in Business Administration. 

Based in Denver, Tera enjoys volunteering with Denver Dress for Success, a nonprofit that supports at-risk women in finding and retaining employment.
