JJ is a graduate of The University of Tennessee-Knoxville with a degree in Business Administration & Marketing.

JJ, his wife, Kristin, and their 4 children make their home in the Nashville area. He is very active in his local church and is an avid golfer. He is a former professional caddie on the LPGA and PGA Tours with 5 total wins to his credit.
