About Jessica Poe

Jessica Poe is the Content and Sales Support Specialist with ThinkingAhead in Nashville. She supports the Nonprofit Practice by leading weekly meetings, creating client-facing visual and written content, and guiding the development and execution of content marketing initiatives. Jessica is also committed to advancing ThinkingAhead’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion journey; she serves on the DEI Committee, tracks DEI hiring statistics, and helps identify areas for growth.

Prior to joining ThinkingAhead, Jessica was a Teacher and Administrative Assistant at Gateway Academy in Nashville. She also worked in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China as a Lead ESL Teacher and International Recruiter. Jessica has also worked in the Nonprofit space, serving under-resourced communities as a Teaching Artist for Turnip Green Creative Reuse and working as a Marketing & Events Management Intern for Green Interchange. She graduated Cum Laude from University of Tennessee, Chattanooga with a degree in Education and a minor in Psychology.

Jessica values creativity in any format, specifically through creating music videos for local Nashville musicians, collaborating on short films, and playing piano. She loves to read and write; her favorite authors include Haruki Murakami, Joan Didion, and Robin Wall Kimmerer. She also spends much of her free time connecting with the natural environment through hiking and climbing.
