About Jessica Poe
Jessica Poe is a visual storyteller with a comprehensive background in producing high-quality video, graphic design, and written content. She has supported the Nonprofit Practice in 100+ searches by creating strong visual and written deliverables for clients, spearheading brand communication with consideration to clients, guiding the development and execution of content marketing initiatives, and leading weekly meetings.
Jessica graduated Cum Laude from University of Tennessee, Chattanooga with a degree in Education and a minor in Psychology. She has been devoted to education and nonprofit spaces throughout her career, serving under-resourced communities as a teacher in Nashville, TN and Fuzhou, China. She is committed to advancing ThinkingAhead’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion journey; she serves on the DEI Committee, tracks DEI hiring statistics, and helps identify areas for growth.
Jessica values creativity in any format, from advancing ThinkingAhead’s marketing and design materials to filmmaking and playing synth in her free time. She loves to read and write, and her favorite authors include Haruki Murakami, Joan Didion, and Robin Wall Kimmerer. She also spends much of her free time connecting with the natural environment through hiking and climbing.
