  • Jenna and Greg, Thank you. When I think of the work you've done it's easy to simply push it into "your job" but I want you to know that I think you've done more than that. What I mean is that you didn't find us a candidate for an opening, you found us THE person that will move the needle the most and thus enable us to invest more in our mission of coastal preservation. This isn't abstract to me, it's very concrete. We know, with certainty, that an extra few hundred thousand in revenue would enable us to invest in regional and other network support and we know that when we do that the entire regional network of chapters starts to yield coastal victory after coastal victory.  The difference between having "a" person in this job and "the best" person in this job is probably at least 3 - 5 coastal wins per year. This is what we mean when we say coastal win So on behalf of everyone connected to our mission, thank you.

  • Please let me thank you for assisting NACME in filling the position of Director of Research, Evaluation and Policy. This is a critical new position in our organization, and we are excited by the potential of our new colleague in this role. Your overview of the national search strategy and recommended timeline was extremely helpful to me at the beginning of the search process. Well researched dossiers on multiple candidates were presented on schedule, and I was given sufficient time for discussing the candidates both before and after the preliminary and final interviews. Stratifying potential candidates along various academic, professional experience, and salary expectations aided the process of determining persons to interview by telephone and on-site. Your knowledge of the New York job market and related candidate expectations was impressive. ThinkingAhead’s prescreening work greatly facilitated the search process. Your. commitment to this challenge, including helpful insights and support in contract negotiations with my top candidate, added immensely to the professionalism of the assignment.

  • As a search participant, I had a distinctly positive experience. I have worked with other search firms and have never encountered the level of organization, preparation and mentoring offered by ThinkingAhead to their candidates. I also felt that a great deal of effort was expended determine my “fit” for the position. My experience in working with you, as a hiring manager, was consistent with the process I experienced as a search participant. The hiring process was enhanced by your list of candidates that contained only qualified prospects. I also believe that your detailed homework allowed me to know all the parties involved, speed the interview process and make the best possible decision. Your dedication to this assignment, including support in negotiations for compensation and overall benefits, really streamlined my work efforts.
