About Cathy Moll, CPC

Cathy is a Partner with ThinkingAhead. She leads a core group of professionals with a client base in the Life Sciences practice at the office in Wilmington, North Carolina, which she opened in 1997.

Prior to joining ThinkingAhead, Cathy completed 17 years as a professional recruiter in the Healthcare Temporary Staffing industry. She is a graduate of the University of Tampa with a  B.A. in Sociology, and is also a Certified Personnel Consultant. Cathy and her husband Gene enjoy the coastal living of Wilmington after spending many years in the Midwest. Their daughter Hayley is a graduate of Elon University and completed a graduate degree in Public History at NC State University. In her spare time, Cathy is an avid walker and loves football season. She has twice-participated in the 39-mile Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

Cathy was the 2010 recipient of the Southwestern Ralph Mosely Award for Excellence which recognizes an individual committed to highly ethical business practices, strong leadership skills, and active community involvement. She was also awarded the ThinkingAhead Fellow Award which represents the highest honor within ThinkingAhead Executive Search. It is bestowed upon an elite group who has demonstrated excellence in the pursuit of knowledge or practice within the Executive Search profession. Fellows are appointed by senior leadership within the firm, and qualifications begin with exceeding 10 years’ tenure, including five years as a Partner, $2.5 million in services fees, exemplary involvement with internal and external training, trade group leadership, and a unique contribution to the firm.
