Project Engineer
A growing and well-established industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Project Engineer to support capital projects, equipment optimization, and plant-level engineering initiatives. This role blends hands-on technical work with project management responsibility and offers strong visibility across operations and maintenance teams.

The Project Engineer will play a key role in managing and executing engineering projects from concept through completion. This individual will support equipment upgrades, troubleshoot complex systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

The Project Engineer will play a key role in managing and executing engineering projects from concept through completion. This individual will support equipment upgrades, troubleshoot complex systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering and maintenance-related projects to meet budget and timeline objectives
- Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Oversee equipment installation, upgrades, and plant modifications
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and engineering records
- Support maintenance teams in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues
- Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement and safety initiatives across operations
- Contribute to design efforts, including drafting and system modifications
- PLC troubleshooting and system support
- Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- AutoCAD drafting and design updates
- Industrial machinery troubleshooting and repair
- Project management including budgeting and scheduling
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, field service, or project engineering
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment
- Working knowledge of PLC systems and controls
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- AutoCAD or similar drafting experience
- Mechanical or technical degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to ~50% as needed for projects
- Comfortable working in a plant/manufacturing environment (heat, noise, physical activity)
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as required
