Engineering Project Technician
The Engineering Project Technician supports engineering and capital project activities within a manufacturing environment. This role assists with equipment installations, process improvements, documentation, and coordination of engineering projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
The position works closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and external vendors to support continuous improvement and plant modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering-led capital and process improvement projects from concept through completion
- Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and production lines
- Coordinate project activities with internal teams, contractors, and vendors
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, manuals, and project records
- Support layout changes, equipment moves, and facility modifications
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment and process issues during project execution
- Participate in safety reviews, risk assessments, and compliance activities
- Track project timelines, materials, and costs under direction of engineering leadership
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and efficiency
- Ensure work complies with company standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment
- Hands-on experience supporting engineering projects, equipment installations, or process improvements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external contractors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CMMS or project tracking tools preferred
- Technical aptitude and mechanical curiosity

- Manufacturing plant environment
- On-site role with regular time on the production floor
- May require occasional off-shift or weekend support during project execution
