About Podimetrics
Podimetrics is on a mission to stop diabetic amputations before they happen and we're doing it through virtual care, innovative technology, and a patient-first mindset. Founded by a physician and MIT/Harvard engineers, we partner with the VA and private payer market to keep high-risk patients healthy at home. We're growing fast. And we're ready for the right person to help us expand our footprint across Texas.
Why This Role Matters
Every year, thousands of Veterans lose limbs to complications that could have been prevented. Your work directly changes that. This isn't transactional selling. This is relationship-driven, consultative, deeply mission-oriented work in one of the most complex and meaningful healthcare environments in the country.
Who We're Looking For
We're not looking for someone who wants to break into the VA. We need someone who is already trusted there.
If you:
- Have real, established relationships across the VA health system
- Know how to navigate a slow, complex, bureaucratic environment with confidence
- Thrive in consultative, educational selling
- Can build a territory from scratch
- Love being in the field (4+ days a week)
- Care about patients and outcomes — not just quotas
...then you'll be wildly successful here.
What You'll Do
- Drive adoption of the Podimetrics amputation-prevention program in new VA and private payer accounts.
- Support and expand existing VA prevention programs.
- Build trust with clinicians by educating them on DFU prevention and patient outcomes.
- Deliver meaningful patient updates to clinics with clarity and professionalism.
- Manage overflow activities driven by rapid growth.
- Develop deep clinical knowledge around DFU, diabetes-related complications, and podiatric terminology.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of successful medical, pharmaceutical, or B2B sales experience
- Established VA relationships - non-negotiable
- Proven ability to build and grow territories
- Strong communication skills
- High reliability, high integrity, and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Google Sheets
- Flexibility to travel weekly across Texas
