About the Role:

The Corporate Accounting Manager will report directly to the Corporate Controller and lead core accounting operations including general ledger oversight, financial statement preparation, audit coordination, and internal controls compliance. This individual will supervise a team of staff and senior accountants and play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong GAAP knowledge, a process-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach to team development and operational improvement. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the greater Pittsburgh area.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage month-end and year-end close processes
· Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements
· Lead audit preparation and serve as key liaison with external auditors
· Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
· Mentor and develop accounting team members
· Support ERP improvements and reporting automation initiatives
· Assist with technical accounting research and implementation

Ideal Background:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
· 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
· Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and audit processes
· Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry preferred
· Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and manage competing deadlines
