Greg McLogan is an Associate Partner and Executive Recruiter with the Banking & Commercial Finance Practice at ThinkingAhead. With more than 25 years of experience in executive search, corporate recruiting, staffing, sales, and talent acquisition, he has established himself as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates across the financial services industry.

Greg specializes in recruiting commercial banking, credit, wealth management, treasury management, private banking, and executive leadership professionals, from mid-management to the C-suite. He partners with community banks, regional banks, credit unions, and financial services organizations nationwide to identify and attract top talent that drives growth, profitability, and long-term success.

Prior to joining ThinkingAhead, Greg built a diverse career spanning executive search, financial services, healthcare, and medical technology. His experience includes recruiting and talent acquisition leadership,  with organizations including Korn Ferry, PNC Bank, Citizens Bank, and Stryker. This broad background enables him to understand the challenges facing both hiring managers and candidates, allowing him to provide strategic guidance throughout the recruiting process.

Greg earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Psychology from Hillsdale College. He resides in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with his wife Shannon, a Clinical Pharmacist at Bronson Hospital. They are proud parents of two children: Lily, a recent graduate of Michigan State University who has relocated to Chicago to begin her marketing career, and Luke, their joyful son with special needs who works part-time on a farm and has a deep love for animals.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys mountain biking, traveling, reading, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
