What You'll Do
- Prepare purchase orders for construction projects
- Review residential construction plans and specifications
- Assist with material takeoffs and cost estimates
- Coordinate pricing with vendors and suppliers
- Work closely with Construction Managers and Purchasing
- Maintain estimating documentation and project records
- Support the estimating team throughout the preconstruction process
- 1-3 years of construction experience preferred
- Experience in residential construction is a plus
- Background as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Field Engineer, Superintendent, Assistant Estimator or similar construction role
- Ability to read construction drawings is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Estimating software experience is not required—training will be provided
- $60,000-$70,000 base salary
