Employment Opportunity - Labor & Employment Associate (3rd-5th Year | San Francisco)
A global, Am Law 100-ranked law firm is seeking a 3rd-5th year Associate to join its Labor & Employment Practice in the San Francisco office. The position involves representing employers in both individual and class/collective actions involving wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, personnel policies, and employment agreements, as well as other workplace-related disputes and counseling matters.
Ideal candidates will have experience handling employer-side labor and employment matters, including litigation involving wage and hour class actions and PAGA claims. Strong academic credentials, excellent legal writing and analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to manage responsibility and take ownership of work are required. Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar.
The practice advises domestic and international corporations on all aspects of the employment relationship, providing strategic counseling and litigation defense aimed at helping organizations manage workforce risk and operational efficiency. The group is known for its extensive trial experience, including complex, high-stakes employment litigation and collective actions across multiple jurisdictions.
