Senior Accountant - Calabasas CA
We are hiring a Senior Accountant for a well-established organization recognized for its strong culture, collaborative environment, and long term stability. This high visibility role partners closely with accounting leadership and operational teams to support general ledger management, month end close, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and operational accounting activities.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting internal controls, assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities, and contributing to process improvements within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger while ensuring accurate classification of transactions
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and adjusting entries
• Lead month end, quarter end, and year end close processes
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate financial variances
• Assist with preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Review vendor invoices, payment processing, customer billing, collections, and cash application activities
• Support cost accounting, operational analysis, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives
• Partner cross functionally with operations and leadership teams to support accurate financial reporting
• Assist with audit preparation, compliance requirements, and accounting documentation
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiencies, and internal control enhancements
• Support accounting system upgrades, implementations, and ad hoc projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting and month end close processes
• Hands on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting activities
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP principles
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP/accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a team environment
