Superintendent (Coastal)
Location: Coastal North Carolina (project-based)
Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 + vehicle + per diem + full benefits
Overview
A commercial contractor with a strong pipeline of design-build work is looking to bring on a Superintendent to run projects along the North Carolina coast. This is a field-driven role where you will be responsible for managing jobs from start to finish, with a strong focus on schedule, subcontractor coordination, and job site execution.
The company has a niche in fire department construction and continues to expand across coastal markets, providing steady backlog and consistent project flow.
Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
• Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance on-site
• Coordinate with Project Managers and internal teams
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proven ability to run projects independently
• Strong understanding of scheduling, subcontractor management, and field execution
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Willingness to travel to project sites across coastal North Carolina
