We have been engaged to identify an experienced SBA Business Development Officer for a well-capitalized, growth-oriented PLP bank.
The bank has a tenured credit and closing team, a fast and consistent approval process, and leadership that is actively invested in the success of its BDOs. They are not looking for someone to develop — they want an experienced producer with an existing referral network who can contribute immediately.

This lender is focused on fully funded, closeable credits. Their core deal types include:
- Business acquisitions and partner buyouts
- Commercial real estate
- Debt refinance and recapitalization
- Working capital and equipment financing
- USDA Business & Industry program
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of SBA lending experience with active origination at an SBA Preferred Lender
- Established referral network — CPAs, attorneys, business brokers, commercial real estate contacts
- Demonstrated track record of self-sourcing and managing a production pipeline independently
- Strong working knowledge of SBA SOP and loan programs
