What You'll Be Doing
- Manage electrical construction projects from kickoff through closeout
- Build and maintain project schedules aligned with milestones
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, and manpower planning
- Handle submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Support field teams and coordinate with Superintendents
- Assist with estimating and take-offs during bid phases
- Lead project meetings and maintain client relationships
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Project Types & Scope
- Schools
- Government and municipal projects
- Commercial construction
Typical project size:
- $100K to $2M (some up to $6M)
What They're Looking For
- 2-6 years of experience in construction project management or related field
- Experience in electrical construction strongly preferred
- Understanding of NEC and electrical systems (600V and below)
- Knowledge of motor controls, low voltage, and access control systems
- Ability to read and interpret drawings (paper and digital)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with field teams and office staff
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu
- Familiarity with estimating software (training available)
- Strong document control and project tracking abilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $70,000 to $120,000
