Service Manager

This role oversees service technicians, drives customer relationships, and ensures the department operates with strong safety, quality, and financial performance. What You'll Do
- Lead daily operations of the Service Department, including scheduling, bidding, contracts, and field support.
- Manage, mentor, and develop service technicians and support staff.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships; generate new service opportunities.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are delivered to support efficient field work.
- Oversee billing, collections, and department financial performance.
- Participate in monthly financial reviews with leadership.
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and ensure projects meet customer expectations.
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with project requirements.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of electrical construction experience, including 1+ year in a leadership or management role.
- Current Journeyman Wireman (JW) license or reciprocal license.
- Strong understanding of the electrical trade, drawings, specs, and materials.
- Excellent communication skills with both customers and field teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel required).
- Solid business and financial acumen.
- Ability to balance office responsibilities with field presence.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass background checks as required by customer sites.
- Local travel to job sites and customer locations.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, Spectrum, MS Project, Accubid, or Primavera.
