Tax Senior Associate - Cincinnati, OH

We are working with a well-established, highly respected public accounting and advisory firm with a long-standing presence across Southwest Ohio to identify a dynamic tax professional for a client-facing leadership role. This organization has built a strong reputation over decades by serving closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and nonprofit organizations, offering a full suite of tax, audit, and advisory services.

This is not a traditional behind-the-scenes tax role. The opportunity is designed for a CPA or experienced tax professional who wants to be deeply involved in client relationships, serve as a trusted advisor, and play a visible role in shaping both client outcomes and the future direction of the firm. You will have the ability to lead engagements, provide strategic tax guidance, and collaborate directly with business owners and leadership teams across a variety of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, real estate, and professional services.

Responsibilities:
  • Review & prep complex tax returns
  • Lead client engagements across diverse industries
  • Cultivate strong client relationships
  • Mentor and guide staff accountants
  • Drive firm growth as a stakeholder
 Qualifications:
  • Years of experience working at a public accounting firm in the tax space
  • Experience working with clients in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing, Construction, Distribution, ESOP, Professional Services, Family Business, Nonprofits, Transportation, Veterinary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Outstanding client service and communication skills
  • Desire to develop unique business solutions in a team-based environment
