About the Opportunity
A leading mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial and municipal mechanical projects in Phoenix, AZ. This position is ideal for someone with deep expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal who can drive high-value projects ($50M+) from start to finish while managing teams and client relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects, from preconstruction to closeout.
• Supervise and mentor project teams, including Project Engineers and Superintendents.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and cost controls to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Review and negotiate contracts, scopes, and change orders.
• Coordinate with field leadership to maintain safety, quality, and compliance.
• Lead client meetings, progress reviews, and internal project coordination.
• Work closely with estimating and leadership teams during project setup and forecasting.
• Conduct jobsite visits and ensure projects are executed on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years as a Project Manager in the mechanical contracting field.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Project Experience: $50M+ mechanical projects; government or municipal experience a plus.
• Skills: Leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and communication expertise.
• Software: Proficiency with MS Project, Acumatica, or similar project management tools.
