Senior Account Executive
Job Summary
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing all aspects of an assigned portfolio of clients ensuring these relationships meet CLIENT standards. The standards include administering and underwriting relationships that will result in an acceptable level of credit risk with an appropriate rate of return for our stakeholders. The Senior Account Executive will also help in assisting/training Portfolio Analysts (Factoring) as well as more junior Account Executives. A Senior Account Executive may be asked from time to time to assist the Underwriting Department with new business and other portfolio or operational matters as requested
Primary Responsibilities
• Manage portfolio through complete and current knowledge of client's financial condition, management's capabilities, industry trends, and take timely action so client losses are minimized and do not exceed budgeted standards.
• Responsible for ensuring all advances and loans comply with loan policy and approved structure.
• Responsible for documenting all relationships to ensure approved and required legal documentation is received.
• Resolve factoring and ABL service problems, control operational costs and minimize loss of clients to competition.
• Propose changes in policies and procedures to reduce costs and provide better and more efficient services.
• Structure and underwrite changes to existing deals for management approval including presentation to CLIENT'S credit committee when necessary
• Understand CLIENT’s credit policies and minimum underwriting standards.
• Work closely with Underwriter and Operations team members during the transition of prospects to new clients to assist with the closing, initial funding, and onboarding of new clients.
• Requires minimum amount of traveling to meet with clients and develop new business relationships.
• Mentor and train less experienced Account Executives in portfolio administration and customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
