About Megan Westcott

Megan (they/she) recruits within the Energy and Renewables practice of Thinking Ahead. They focus on PE-licensed engineers for Renewables and Power Delivery, and they prioritize empathy,
trust, and consistent human connection over rigid procedures or quick fixes. The chance to help make an impact on the environment and sustainability are huge motivators for her.

Now based in Chicago, IL, Megan attended Middle Tennessee State University in the Nashville area, where she earned a degree in Exercise Science. Out of college, she worked as a Strength and Rowing coach in the Nashville and Chicago area before transitioning into sales. They then went on to work for Dashlane in the cybersecurity sector then onto an Enterprise Account Executive role with Indeed. Achieving President’s
Club in their first full year helped hone Megan’s skills in the recruitment industry, which led to her position as an Executive Recruiter with Thinking Ahead.

Both inside and outside of work, Megan has a passion for fostering community and continually helping DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) be more of a priority. When not
working, they enjoy doing vintage pop-ups in Chicago (Double Gemini Vintage), fostering dogs with the local shelter, PAWS, exploring coffee shops, the great outdoors, and traveling whenever possible. Italy is a main destination as her partner lives in Turin, Italy, and she enjoys immersing herself in new cultures at any given chance.
