Chris Spagnola Takes Home the Admirable Ralph Mosley Award for 2020

Each year, ThinkingAhead recognizes an employee as the recipient of the Ralph Mosley Award.  The Ralph Mosley Award for Excellence is presented to an individual who embodies and embraces the spirit of ThinkingAhead by exhibiting high ethical standards, commitment through years of service, consistent performance, a positive influence on the company and its employees, and active community involvement.  The 2020 Recipient of the Ralph Mosley Award was presented to ThinkingAhead’s Chris Spagnola, CPC, Partner and Recruiter from the Nonprofit team.

Chris and her husband, Joe, live in Nashville, Tennessee with their two children.  When she’s not connecting talented Nonprofit professionals with exceptional mission-driven organizations, you can find her cheering at her kids’ sports functions, volunteering with local children-focused organizations and church, cooking or traveling.

Her journey with ThinkingAhead began at the end of 2011, after a successful 12 years recruiting in-house for ThinkingAhead and sister company, Great American Opportunities, Inc.  After just six short years, Chris was promoted from Research Associate to being the field leader of the Nonprofit team, to no surprise.

With the Ralph Mosley Award, the building blocks of the award are as follows: attitude, team orientation, leadership, consistency, professionaal ethic, development of others, resiliency and work ethic.  With countless reasons on end from her co-workers that support each and every one of these building blocks, fellow Nonprofit Partner, Jonathan McIntosh, had something to say about Chris:

“Since Chris has always been a remote recruiter, I don’t believe she is known and appreciated across the company the way she is within our team and that is a shame.  Chris is the one who holds our team together.  Almost every search on our team’s desk, she has her hands on in some way.  Much of what we do that is common practice, was proved out by her as best practice.  Much of the current success we are enjoying as a team is in large part due to Chris’ faithfulness to work this market with kindness, integrity, class, and emotional intelligence.  Clients and candidates want to continue to work with our nonprofit team largely because they had such a positive experience in the past with Chris Spagnola.”

ThinkingAhead is beyond grateful to have Chris Spagnola as a part of our family. Congratulations, and we are so proud of you!
