About Shayne Merrick

Shayne is the leader of the Sales division of ThinkingAhead. Along with Hans Schlegel, their focus is on the recruitment and placement of Top Sales Talent. Shayne is starting his 11th year in recruiting, and his sixth year as a manager. In his time with ThinkingAhead he has contributed to over 350 placements with client companies worldwide.

Prior to joining ThinkingAhead, he was a sales leader with sister company, Southwestern Advantage, recruiting and training student salespeople. Including his Southwestern experience, he has been a part of the corporate family for 16 years.  Shayne is a Certified Personnel Consultant.

Shayne is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Management. He is a recently elected Board Member of the Better Business Bureau, a past United Way Chairman for the Southwestern Family of Companies, and has served on the board of the Tennessee Recruiters Association and Nashville Junior Chamber. Shayne, his wife Alex and son Arlo call Nashville home.
