Sean Sposeep is a Partner with ThinkingAhead, and began his career as a recruiter in the Wilmington, North Carolina office in early 2001. He works with biotech, biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical companies to place professionals in R&D.
Prior to joining ThinkingAhead, Sean was the Fitness Director of World Gym in Wilmington. He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Nutrition. Sean is also a Certified Personnel Consultant.
As a fitness enthusiast, when not working Sean can usually be found working out at the gym. Living near the Intracoastal Waterway also provides great places to kayak. While at ThinkingAhead, Sean was appointed to be a ThinkingAhead Fellow. The Fellow Award represents the highest honor within ThinkingAhead Executive Search. It is bestowed upon an elite group who has demonstrated excellence in the pursuit of knowledge or practice within the Executive Search profession. Fellows are appointed by senior leadership within the firm, and qualifications begin with exceeding 10 years tenure, including five years as a Partner, $2.5 million in services fees, exemplary involvement with internal and external training, trade group leadership, and a unique contribution to the firm.
A super recruiter who is truly more like a friend interested in my wellbeing and at times calls to just check-in. No hype, no pressure and at times provides a good joke! Sean knows the market and what's happening; the best I've ever worked with!
Sean has been a pleasure to work with. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable in his field and most importantly acts with the utmost integrity. I would highly recommend Sean without any hesitation. I’ve appreciated his active listening and deep understanding of the recruitment process.
Sean went well above and beyond my expectations in consulting with me on the best approach to make this recent career move. I expected a good chat with some general advice and strategies, but Sean made himself available throughout the process and even after hours to answer questions and provide input at each stage of the process. He was genuinely enthusiastic and sincere in his support of me during this career move. I had no doubts of his integrity and desire to aid me in the way a good friend does. Sean will always be at the top of my professional contacts list, and I would not hesitate to work with him again.
