About Chuck Hutsell

As the Practice Lead for the Nashville IT, Gaming, and Energy teams at ThinkingAhead, Chuck Hutsell leads a core group of search consultants with a client base in the Nashville business community, the casino gaming industry, and the energy transmission planning and design industry. With over 14 years of recruiting experience, his search practice specializes in technical IT-related roles, technical sales, program and product management, and technical leadership. His clients include some of the most recognized companies in the Nashville business community and many of the top casino game manufacturers in the United States..


Chuck has more than 25 years of Information Technology experience. Prior to joining ThinkingAhead in 2005, Chuck had successfully introduced a recruiting and contracting service within an IT consulting practice after having built a profitable technical services team for that firm. Prior to his career in IT Consulting, Chuck was with Deloitte where he was the technical lead for the worldwide implementation of Lotus Notes. Chuck began his career in PC Support with Service Merchandise, Inc. He holds a B.S. degree from Tennessee Technological University. He is a past board member of the Tennessee Recruiters Association, is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC), and an active leader in his local chapter of Boy Scouts of America.
