Tax Senior Associate - Dallas TX
This opportunity is with a progressive, midsized, full service Certified Public Accounting and Integrated Wealth Management firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Established in the late 1980s, the firm has built a strong reputation for delivering proactive tax, accounting, and advisory services to high net worth individuals, families, and privately held businesses throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and nationwide.
In addition to its public accounting practice, the organization operates an affiliated wealth management platform that provides comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services. Together, the firm delivers an integrated suite of services including tax compliance, consulting, investment management, family office services, and retirement plan advisory.

Due to continued organic growth, the firm is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join its Dallas office. This role provides hands on exposure across complex tax engagements including preparation and review of partnership, S corporation, individual, and fiduciary tax returns while working closely with managers and partners to deliver high quality client service.
The Tax Senior Associate will play an important role in executing tax engagements, mentoring junior staff, and expanding technical tax expertise within a collaborative public accounting environment.

Reports to: Tax Manager / Tax Partner
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns including Forms 1065, 1120S, 1040, and 1041
- Prepare tax estimates and projections for individual and business clients
- Assist with tax planning and compliance strategies for high net worth individuals and closely held businesses
- Research tax issues and assist in applying technical guidance to client situations
- Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation in accordance with firm standards
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the tax preparation process
- Collaborate with managers and partners on tax engagements and client deliverables
- Mentor and assist junior staff accountants in preparing tax returns and workpapers
- Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines, particularly during busy season
- Communicate effectively with clients to request information and clarify tax related matters
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement efficiency and client service delivery
- Support additional tax related projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred
- Three to five years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience preparing partnership, S corporation, individual, and fiduciary tax returns
- Strong understanding of federal tax compliance concepts
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with technology including Excel and QuickBooks
