Position Overview
An airport services and construction organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support an active airport construction project in Nashville, TN. This role is focused specifically on Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and will support an ongoing project already in execution.
The Project Manager will work within a multi-tier subcontracting structure and report into a larger construction management team. This is a long-term opportunity with stable work projected through October 2028, with strong internal growth potential.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the execution of Baggage Handling System (BHS) construction activities
• Track progress of BHS installations, upgrades, and system modifications
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and project leadership to maintain schedule and quality
• Respond to and help resolve BHS system outages or operational issues during construction
• Identify construction and operational needs tied to BHS performance
• Review drawings, schedules, and project documentation related to BHS scope
• Support project reporting, documentation, and communication with stakeholders
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and airport requirements
• Assist with issue resolution in an active airport environment

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supporting airport construction projects
• Strong background in Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) preferred
• Experience working within subcontractor or multi-contractor project structures
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, coordination, and field operations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively on active, fast-paced projects
• Proficiency with standard project management tools and documentation
• Ability to work onsite as required in an airport environment
